President Asif Ali Zardari made a telephonic contact with MQM chief Altaf Hussain on Saturday to discuss country's current political situation. According to Presidential Spokesman Farhatullah Babar, President Zardari and Altaf Hussain discussed the political situation of country with special focus on Sindh. The MQM Chief assured the President that his party would continue to support the PPP led government at the Centre and in Sindh and would be in the forefront to foil conspiracies against the democratic set up. Sources said that the matter of arrest of two suspected killers of Dr Imran Farooq by Pakistani security agencies was also discussed during the conversation.
