Police arrested six culprits involved in motorcycles snatching and other street crimes and recovered arms and snatched bikes from their possession here in Karachi during raids on Friday-Saturday night. The police on a tip off approached four motorcycle snatchers in Mangopir locality near Hamdard University and tried to arrest them. The accused resisted and started firing which led to encounter that continued for more than 20 minutes. The police after fire exchange arrested all the four culprits and recovered four pistols and two snatched motorcycles from their possession. Meanwhile two accused of street crimes and looting commuter in local route buses, were arrested from Baldia Town and arms were recovered from their possession.
