GUJRANWALA-Federal Minister for Defence Khurram Dastgir inaugurated the Executive Passport Office at Gujranwala on Saturday.
During his address on the occasion, he said the government was providing modern facilities for the citizens. The citizens could now get their passports in short time, he said. He added that a mega Nadra Centre at Gujranwla was also under construction. The Nadra chairman has already been directed for its early completion, he added. He said the people were fully satisfied with the performance of the government. He said the general election would be conducted after completion of the present tenure.
ARREST: Anti-Corruption Establishment has arrested an ASI for receiving bribe from a citizen. Akram had given an application that ASI Ashiq Ali Narowal police was demanding bribe from him for registering a cross version. On the application, circle office Rana Ilyas conducted a raid and held ASI Ashiq red handed while receiving Rs30,000 bribe from the citizen.
