VEHARI-Modern equipment at Basic Health Units, Rural Health Centres, Tehsil Headquarters Hospitals and the District Headquarter (DHQ) Hospital stands testimony to the government's vow to provide medical facilities to Veharians at their hometown.
It was stated by Commissioner Multan Division Bilal Ahmad Butt during a visit to Vehari DHQ Hospital here the other day. He was accompanied by DC Ali Akber Bhatti, DPO Umer Saeed Malik, CEO (health) Dr Shoaib Rehman Garmani, AC Asif Hussain and Medical Superintendent Dr Farooq.
The commissioner went round Emergency Ward, Diagnostic Lab and Female Ward of the hospital. He inquired after patients' health and also the facilities they were being rendered. RPO Adrees advised the DPO to install CCTV cameras on the hospital premises to enhance security. The RPO pointed out that with installation of CT Scan Machine, locals wouldn't have to travel other cities. The commissioner and the RPO also visited building of Tea House and appreciated efforts made by the deputy commissioner.
