Section 144 imposed for 180 days in Sindh

The government of Sindh, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 144 (6) Cr PC has imposed complete ban on throwing and dumping of all kinds of hazardous material like solid waste, industrial waste and any other solid and liquid waste material in Rice Canal for a period of 90 days with immediate effect.

According to another notification, the government of Sindh has in exercise of powers conferred under Section 144 (6) Cr. PC imposed complete ban on display of arms, guards wearing civil clothes except the personnel of Law enforcement Agencies, Security guards wearing uniforms having resemblance with vehicles of Police & other Law Enforcement Agencies, private vehicles with mounted police lights, private vehicles with tinted glasses, un-authorized blue lights and fancy number plate and private vehicles having Police siren and hooters throughout the Province of Sindh for one hundred eighty (180) days with immediate effect.

Furthermore the ban has been imposed on the protests, demonstrations, rallies and assembly of more than five (05) persons in sensitive areas/ places declared as (Red Zone) in Karachi Division has been extended for a period of 180 days with immediate effect.

The SHOs of concerned Police Stations are authorized to register the complaints under Section 188 PPC in writing for the violation of Section 144 Cr. PC.
