LAHORE - More than 30 flights were affected by bad weather at Lahore airport on Monday, a CAA official said. He said that most of the flights were of PIA.

“The PIA has rescheduled its Tuesday’s flight operation,” a spokesman said. The following flights have been revised: PK 340 (Karachi-Faisalabad ) was re-routed to operate as Karachi-Lahore and PK717 (Faisalabad-Madina) as Lahore-Madina. PK 650 (Lahore-Islamabad) will operate with a 4-hour delay and PK 651(Islamabad- Lahore) with a three-and-a-half hours delay. Moreover, PK 295 (Lahore-Abu Dhabi) will now operate as Lahore-Rahim Yar Khan-Abu Dhabi with a 30-minute delay, the spokesman concluded. Airport sources said that PIA flights coming from Kuwait and Muscat Pk-206 and Pk-230, respectively, were also cancelled. Qatar Airways flight QR-628 coming from Doha is expected to land after 1:00pm on Tuesday, similarly Qatr Airways flight departing from Lahore to Doha will leave accordingly. Apart from that flights operating to and from Istanbul, Bahrain, Muscat, and Dubai are also delayed.
