Rawalpindi - Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) Student Affairs department organised a seminar on voters’ education in collaboration with Election Commission of Pakistan on Monday.

The guest speaker of the seminar was Muhammad Nadeem Zubair, Regional Election Commissioner, Rawalpindi. The seminar was aimed to create awareness among students (voters) to highlight importance of vote .

While addressing on the occasion, Muhammad Nadeem Zubair, Regional Election Commissioner, Rawalpindi said that in order to make the election system successful in Pakistan voters must be aware of the importance and value of their votes, it will enable the voters to choose a correct candidate and to make him accountable.

He also advised the students to participate in election process in a large majority so that a representative and responsible government could be installed.

Muhammad Nadeem Zubair answered the students’ questions regarding voting problems and hurdles and motivated them to vote for the upcoming elections.

 Later, Humaiyun Iqbal, Additional Registrar of Fatima Jinnah  Women University presented the university souvenir to the guest speaker as a vote of thanks.
