LAHORE (HANDOUT ) - National Highways and Motorway Police Inspector General Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema imparted information about road safety to the students as well as took promise from them not to violate the traffic laws as civilised nations show their discipline on roads.
He was addressing teachers and students of King Edward Medical University at Lahore on Tuesday. DIG N-5 Central, Mirza Shakil Ahmad, Pro Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University Prof Dr Asad Alsam Khan, Head of Community Medicine Dr Sara Aslam and a large number of students attended the event.
King Edward Medical University Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Asad Alsam Khan appreciated the professionalism of Motorway Police and efforts of Zulfiqar Cheema to improve the standard of road safety in Pakistan.
The IG distributed gifts among the students in a quiz programme relating to road safety held at the end of the event.
