Refresher courses for police

LAHORE - Punjab Inspector General Police Arif Nawaz Khan has said that modern investigation and refresher courses should be launched to build the capacity of the police investigators in the province. The IGP said that the new police recruits should be trained on the pattern of developed countries.  The provincial police chief expressed these views while presiding over a meeting at the Central Police Office on Friday. Police officers including Tariq Masood Yasin, Waqar Abbasi, and Shariq Kamal Siddiqui were also present on this occasion besides others.  The IGP said that best training for the police force is the top priority of the department and all available resources should be utilized for this purpose. He said that the new police recruits should perform their duties with new spirit in order to bring a positive change in Thana culture.
