ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani directed Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz to play his due role in provincial politics to the best Parliamentary practices leading to strengthening the cause of democracy and rule of law.He expressed these views when Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz called on him on Tuesday to congratulate him on his successful UK visit.The Prime Minister said that he would address public meetings in near future in Punjab for which he should facilitate the office-bearers of the party to organise the party workers at all levels. Meanwhile, MPAs Amna Ulfat and Ms Khawar Hayat called on Prime Minister Gilani and congratulated him on the successful visit to UK in which the British Government extended full support to the democratic government led by the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister thanked MPAs for their sentiments and said that together we will continue to strive to strengthen democracy in the country.
