PO involved in triple-murder nabbed





LAHORE – Crimes Investigations Agency (CIA) police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a Proclaimed Offender (PO) wanted to the police in triple-murder case during a successful a raid.
According to police, SP (CIA) Liaqat Ali Malik constituted a special police team, which raided at a hideout and arrested Riasat Ali, who had killed three persons in Begun Kot Shahdara. The Punjab Home Department had announced Rs 200,000 bounty for the arrest of the criminal. The police also recovered a pistol from his passion and shifted him to a police lock-up for further interrogation.
The CIA police also raided near Allama Iqbal Airport and arrested two accused involved in a murder case in Sargodha district. The accused have been identified as Muhammad Yaqoob and Muhammad Ishaq. According to the police, the killers were fleeing from the country and they were on their way to the airport to leave abroad when the police arrested them. Another special team of the CIA also arrested four accused involved in Cyber-crimes and fraud cases. The police later handed over the accused, Muhammad Rafique, Muhammad Yousaf, Muhammad Farhan and Khurrum Shehzad, to the FIA for further interrogation. CCPO Muhammad Aslam Tareen lauded the efforts of SP CIA Liaqat Ali and directed the officer to step up crackdown against most wanted criminals.
