LAHORE - Lahore Stock Exchange decided to delist the Kohinoor Looms Limited from the Ready Board Quotations of LSE. Kohinoor Looms Limited was listed at Lahore Stock Exchange in year 1992. The Company is under violation of Listing Regulations No. 30(1)(b)(d)(e)(g) of Exchange i.e. non-holding of AGM, had gone into liquidation through Court Order, non-payment of annual listing fee and non induction of ordinary shares of the Company into CDS of the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited.
As per Lahore High Court order, the Company was dissolved in March 2005. Trading in the shares of the Company is suspended since 2001.
The Exchange has invited objection (if any) from the concerned liquidator/Company to the delisting of the Company vide its Notice No. 7914 dated November 30, 2012. In response to the above referred Notice, no objection of whatsoever nature has been received by the Exchange within the stipulated deadline.
