Islamabad: Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry has said the United States and China have assured their full support to the recently-initiated dialogue process between Afghan Taliban and Afghan authorities. In an interview, he said Pakistan is playing the role of a facilitator in this dialogue process. He said the dialogue was held in a very cordial and congenial atmosphere.

 The Foreign Secretary  said the Afghan authorities presented their points which were based on the view that bloodshed in Afghanistan should end and peace prevail. Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said peace in Afghanistan would help bring peace in the whole region.
