WFO rejects BLA claim of killing labourers

RAWALPINDI - The Federal Works Organisation (FWO) has rejected the claim of Baloch Liberation Army regarding killing of 15 WFO labourers working on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) at the Ketch area of Balochistan.

A spokesman of FWO stated that apropos a news item circulating in different sections of media that BLA claims killing of 15 FWO personnel working on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Turbat district of Balochistan. It is clarified that no such incident has happened in that area as 15 other Pakistani nationals were brutally murdered for which separate probes are being underway by the local civil administration. The claim of BLA is baseless, fallacious and an obnoxious attempt to sabotage the CPEC, he said. He said that the FWO is committed to serve the nation and works in remote and difficult areas across the country wherein requisite security measurements for employees and projects are ensured. “It is, however, worth mentioning, that such cowardly acts by the terrorists or miscreants cannot undermine the CPEC, efforts of Pakistani nation, armed forces and the FWO,” the spokesman said.
