Punjab govt feels at risk from Rangers action: Qadri

LONDON: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has many other likes of Kulbhushan Yadav under his blanket and said that the premier did not utter even a word over the Indian spy.

Talking to media here, he highlight that no law exists in India and Pakistan for ten-year visa and sought clarification from high-commissions in the two countries and other national institutions responsible for national security.

Punjab government feels at jeopardy from the Rangers Operation in the province and claimed that Punjab police is disappearing terrorists, he said.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri also claimed that a conspiracy is afoot to frustrate Zarb-e-Azb Operation in the country.

The PAT chief remarked Model Town tragedy is worst state terrorism and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had said he will resign if the investigations points finger to him; but, the entire Justice Baqir report declared him as the main culprit.

He said two years passed after Model Town massacre but the justice was not received and report of Judicial Commission has not been issued despite the lapse of two years.

He reiterated, “The legal battle will continue without any letup even if we have to expend 20 more years for the purpose.”

“We had to take recourse to international institutions as we could not get justice. And, we will continue this war against oppression and terrorism. We vow to wage this war for the acquisition of justice till the last breath.”

Tahir-ul-Qadri said that we have to turn to international courts because we did not get justice in Pakistan.

The PAT chief said that he has come to London to seek justice for Model town massacre. He said that all the police officers who killed innocent people in Model town have been sent abroad by the government.

Tahir-ul-Qadri accused that Amir Riaz Cheema had been sent abroad for training adding that officer Abdur Raheem Sherazi who dragged our women had also been sent to London. He said that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah had been temporarily removed and was made minister again and Principal Secretary Tauqeer Shah was sent to Geneva.

We had to bring hundred of thousands of people on streets just to get FIR registered, PAT chief said.

PAT chief also said that state terrorism was demonstrated in Model town and world have not seen incident like this. He said that our workers were killed in front of the media. Tahir-ul-Qadri also said that the report of Justice Baqir has not been published yet after two years. Tahir-ul-Qadri reiterated that our struggle for justice will be continued.
