First luxurious car of PM House sold

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led federal government has started the first phase of auctioning of 102 vehicles, including bulletproof cars and ultra-luxury vehicles, today as part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s austerity drive.

First luxury vehicle of Prime Minister House 'Toyota Corolla Altis Model 2010’ has been sold at the cost of Rs 11, 20,000.

According to media reports, auction of PM House modern and luxurious vehicles was started at 11 am in the morning on September 17, Monday at which bidding for sale of Toyota Corolla Altis Model 2010 was started from Rs 1 Lac and Faizan Malik resident of Sialkot purchased this vehicle on the basis of his highest bid of Rs 11, 20,000.

The vehicles displayed for auction include eight BMW, 28 Mercedes, 40 Toyota cars, two land cruisers, five Mitsubishi, and two jeeps. The bidders will have to submit 10 percent amount of the total value of a vehicle, they are bidding for.

The auction is being arranged in the backdrop of Prime Minister Imran Khan's austerity drive and living a simple lifestyle.
