The sight of cars queuing up along the CNG pumps, often KMs long is a spectacle of a sinking nation trying to keep its head above the water. For most Pakistanis, life and day starts revolving around streets trying to find CNG stations and then waiting in long queues to get some gas. It appears, the whole country seems to have one aim: how to get CNG which is still slightly cheaper than petrol but in the long run, leaves a devastating impact on the engine.
Not only the young but the old are seen making a beeline for the filling stations. We needs to take some serious steps to explore the ample resources lying inert within the country. I am sure we have enough gas to cater to the needs of the country, it only needs to be tapped.
