Quetta attack condemned

HAFIZABAD - Ulema belonging to all schools of thoughts and Christians Priest strongly condemned the terrorists attack on a Church in Quetta and declared that it was a calculated conspiracy of anti-State elements to foil interfaith harmony.

Elders Liaqat, Irfan, Ishaq Khokhar, president CBA, Municipality and Christian leaders Ustad Aslam and Inayat Paul Masih appreciated timely action by the LEAs which saved the lives of hundreds of Christians who were offering prayers in the church. They called upon the police to arrest the absconding terrorists to provide them deterrent punishment.

They also pledged to further strengthen inter-faith harmony to foil evil design of the enemy.

COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION UNDERLINED

Participation of community in the provision of basic civic amenities in the rural areas is inevitable, DC Saleha Saeed stressed.

While reviewing the pace of execution of 'Saaf Dehat Programme' in Kuriala, Chak Chattha and Vanike Tarar UCs, she appreciated the interest shown by the volunteers, councillors, Chairman UCs and stressed the need for accelerating the pace of the project so as to ensure pavement of streets, potable water, better sanitary conditions and to dump the filth and garbage in the specified dumping sites.
