ISLAMABAD – Six-star Mustafa Asif helped Bajwa Club beat Kiwi Boys Cricket Club by six wickets in a friendly match played here at Saint Marry’s cricket ground. Batting first, Kiwi Boys were all out for 191 in 35 overs. Mustafa Asif was the wrecker of Kiwi Boys batting with his 6-47. Rehan made 28 runs, Sajjad 25 and Nadeem 23. Bajwa Club started their innings cautiously as openers wasted too many precious deliveries which resulted in a very close finish at the end. Bajwa Club finally achieved the target in the last over with four balls to spare. Had openers even scored runs in singles, Bajwa Club could have easily won the game in less than 30 overs. Nasir Nawaz made 62, Asif Bajwa 45 and Mustafa unbeaten 29. Mustafa was named player of the match. –Staff Reporter
