Rain rain rain, come again and again!

LAHORE - Parts of the country received scattered rains on Monday, making weather pleasant by causing decrease in the mercury level.
Patches of clouds, rains and continuously blowing winds made weather pleasant in plains by decreasing temperature during the day and at nighttime.
According to the experts, westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to move east-northeastwards during next 12 to 18 hours.
Maximum and minimum temperature in Lahore was recorded 25 degree Celsius and 15 C respectively. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded 53 per cent.
The meteorological department has forecast scattered rain-thunderstorm associated with gusty winds for Khyber PK (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar divisions), Islamabad, Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Lahore divisions), Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during the next 24 hours. Isolated Light snowfall is also likely over northern areas of the country.
On Monday, Malam Jabba received 80 mm rain, Dir 77 mm, Parachinar 72 mm, Kalam 62 mm, Drosh and Chitral 46 mm each, Pattan 42 mm, Lower Dir 19 mm, Kalat, Mirkhani and Astore 17 mm each, Balakot and Saidu Sharif 16 mm each, Panjgur 12 mm, Quetta 11 mm, Gawadar, Garhidupatta and Kakul 09 mm each, Murree and Rawalakot 07 mm each.
