ISLAMABAD – Ijazur Rehman once again claimed the No 1 spot in Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) fresh rankings . Ijaz has been holding this slot for the last 10 years. "We have established the ranking on basis of points earned by the players in the national ranking tournaments," said PTBF spokesman. He said Ijaz secured the top place by obtaining 140 points in 2013, Zafar Iqbal was second with 130 points, Shabir Lashkarwala third with 126 points while Fazal Mania fourth with 116 points. Ijaz said: “There is no dearth of bowling talent in Pakistan but the problem is non-availability of bowling clubs in major cities of the country. The Pakistan Sports Board should assist us to establish new bowling clubs in order to promote the game which will help us in earning laurels for the country.”–Staff Reporter
