LAHORE – Pakistan International Airline (PIA) outclassed Pakistan Wapda 3-0 in the Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) match played at the Korangi Baloch Football Stadium, Karachi Sunday. The airliners and electricmen fought well but the airliners showed their class in the 40th minute when Naveed Ullah scored the first goal for PIA in the 40th minute helping his team to take 1-0 lead which was they upheld till the end of the first half. In the second half, no goal was scored till first 35 minutes. Zeeshan Ali then came from behind to enhance the PIA’s lead to 2-0 in the 81st minute. Then in the extra time 90+3, Riaz Ahmad added another goal to his team’s total to make it 3-0. Abdul Jabbar of PIA was man of the match. KPT will face PAF today (Monday).
