PESHAWAR Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (PSC), Peshawar, through a press note has notified for information of all candidates that it will conduct ability tests in the different subjects. In this regard call letters have been issued to all the concerned candidates on their postal addresses. However, if any candidate does not receive call letter, he or she can call on 9213563, 9212897, 9214131 (Extension Number 1088, 405,1051) or visit the office of PSC, 2-Fort road Peshawar Cantt. According to schedule, the ability tests for the two posts of Assistant Programmer (BS-16) in Finance Dept will be held on June 20, 2011. Similarly four posts of Female Lecturers Biology (BS-17) in Higher Education Dept will be on June 21, 2011, six posts of Male Lecturers Law (BS-17) in Higher Education Dept, will be on June 22, 2011, seven posts of Male Lecturers Pashto (BS-17) in Higher Education Dept will be on June 23, 2011, six Sub Engineer (BS-11) in Irrigation Dept will be on June 24, 2011, one Assistant Director / Programme (BS-17) in Information Dept. for both sexes will be held on June 27, 2011, seven posts of Female Lecturers Urdu (BS-17) in Higher Education Dept. will be on June 28, 2011 and nine posts of Assistant Programmer (BS-16) in Elementary & Education Dept. will be on June 29, 2011. Meanwhile, according to a report issued here, the district government has already banned the business of selling spoiled chicken pieces/liver transported from other parts of the country, which were declared dangerous for health. During crackdown, the two persons namely Jawad S/O Amirullah (Police Station Hashtnagri) and Fayaz S/O Janab Gul, (Police Station Gulbahar) were arrested and booked u/s 188 PPC for violation of section 144 CrPC imposed on sale of such items and were handed over to the local police. Similarly, during price checking in Phandu Chowk, TMO/Price Magistrate Town-IV arrested one shopkeeper and a fine of Rs 2000 was imposed on the spot. Meanwhile, Police of Chamani police station arrested a wanted criminal, various other criminals and recovered weapons and drugs from them here on Saturday. According to details, SHO of Chamani police station Sabaz Ali Khan raided various areas and has arrested a wanted criminal named Razi Muhammad S/O Abdul Jabbar Sakana Mola Go, a pistol of 9mm-bore was also recovered from him.
