SARGODHA - Three members of a family including two women died in a road mishap near at Shahpur Saddar on Sargodha-Khushab Road the other night. According to detail, a speeding passengers coaster bearing registration number 2889/KBB collided with a motorcycle SGO 1782. Resultantly, three persons including two women identified as Zakia Bibi, Sakina Bibi and Safdar Abbas died on the spot while two injured were shifted to hospital in critical condition. Police have registered a case against the coach driver. In another accident, a student died as a result of bus and school van collusion on Sargodha-Jhang Road on Saturday. Rescue team shifted other four injured students to hospital. Three POs arrested: The police arrested three criminals including two proclaimed offenders during a crackdown on anti-social elements. Police sources told that Nazar Abbas, a resident of Kalas Sharif who had killed his sister Khalida Bibi arrested by the Miani Police. Similarly accused Arshad Mehmood and Rizwan Haider were arrested both were wanted by the police in several incidents of dacoity and robberies. The police recovered illegal arms from their possession. Intermittent rain turns weather pleasant: The intermittent down pours curtailed the hotness of the vexing summer season here Saturday morning. The people, especially children and youngsters came out of their houses and joyfully took bath in rain on the road and streets. Meanwhile, the low lying areas of the city came under water which multiplied the miseries of the locals. The citizens said that they have not seen TMA sanitary staff any where to wipe out the splashing rainwater from the roads and the bazaars. So this situation became more difficult for the pedestrians such as women and other commuters who had to come for daily shopping as well. It is to be noted that despite a considerable decrease in the mercury, the unscheduled power loadshedding continued to test the patience of the masses. Similarly, inhabitants of various city areas complained about the low gas pressure.
