PESHAWAR  - A house was partially damaged when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off at Charsadda Road in the outskirts of the provincial capital on Sunday.
The blast caused fear and panic among the residents and a large number of people rushed to examine the losses. Heavy contingent of police and bomb disposal squad rushed towards the blast site and cordoned off the area. According to bomb disposal squad, around 600 grams explosive material was used in the blast. The target of the blast was not confirmed immediately, however, police arrested several suspected persons from the area and started investigation.
