LAHORE - Punjab Institute of Cardiology has forwarded a summary to the Punjab Health Department, seeking approval regarding creation of 710 new seats in different scales to accommodate employees appointed by its Board of Management.
The PIC has suggested allocation of Rs 200 million in budget for coming fiscal year for paying salaries and other perks and privileges to these employees. After approval from the Health Department, PIC will regularise services of these employees recruited by BoM on contract on different occasions in the past. BoM of PIC had never approached the Punjab Government for creation of seats and as such all these continued to work on contract basis.
The PIC has sought approval for creation of 01 seat in BPS-20, 04 in BPS-19, 25 in BPS-18, 69 in BPS-17, 170 in BPS-16, 06 in BPS-14, 08 in BPS-11, 21 in BPS-10, 16 in BPS-9, 40 in BPS-6, 37 in BPS-5, 16 in BPS-3, 66 in BPS-2 and 213 in BPS-1.
