SUKKUR - Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Syed Khusheed Shah reiterated that the Pakistan People's Party would not become the part of any alliance to abolish democratic system.
Talking to media at Sukkur Airport, Shah said his party would not sacrifice democracy for any treasury seat. He said the politicians should show seriousness at this time, adding unjustified sit-ins and whatever happening in the name of change of system in the country is wrong.
The PPP would be on the front foot to save the democratic process in the country if there was any threat to it, Shah resolved.
Shah criticised the government, saying owing to its non-seriousness, some politicians were staging sit-ins and taking out protest demonstrations.
