Star players leave for BPL

RAWALPINDI  - Cool & Cool National T20 presently underway at Pindi Cricket Stadium further lost his charm as mega stars left for Bangladesh to take part in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

According to details, the PCB had made it mandatory for players to participate in the National T20 till 17th of this month. Players including M Aamir, , Shoaib Malik, Hassan Ali, Islamabad, Junaid Khan and Usama Mir will be in action in BPL. Around 17 Pakistani players will be in action in the Bangladeshi event. However, Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed, Shahdab Khan, Ruman Raees and Faheem Ashraf decided not to play BPL and continue to play the National event.

The PCB never bothered to pay heed on ensuring pre-emptive measures and use commonsense to allow free entry at least in the general stands. What is the purpose of wasting passes in huge quantity on daily basis. Rather than wasting national kitty on free passes and meal besides other facilities to blue-eyes of Islamabad and Rawalpindi Regions. The PCB should allow spectators to throng venue at least till the semi-finals as players will love to perform and get appreciation from pack to capacity stadium.

Rather than empty stadium, it is hoped the PCB chairman will take step in the best interest of cricket and allow free entry for masses and also seek explanation from chairman tournament organising committee Haroon Rasheed as why he never bothered to turn up at the venue.
