LAHORE - Religious leaders called upon the government to conduct judicial inquiry into the Kot Radha Kishan and holding speedy trial to bring culprits to book.
 “No party or a group has right to deprive citizens of their basic rights. We all condemn the killing of Christian couple and demand the government hold judicial inquiry,” said the leaders of different sects and religions while addressing a joint gathering at Kot Radha Kishan Wednesday.
The joint gathering was presided over by Central Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Tahir Mehmood Asharafi.
“We want to make Pakistan on the patron of State of Madina where nobody could be deprived of basic rights” he added.
Speaking on the occasion, President Church of Pakistan Bishop Samuel said that the incident of Kot Radha Kishen is the humiliation of humanity. He demanded capital punishment to the culprit.
The gathering was also addressed by Secretary General PUC Sahibzada Zahid Mehmood, Father James Bishop Khokhar and Molana Irshad of JUP.
