LAHORE: Harbin Electric International, renowned Chinese company, Chairman Goa Yu met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, here on Wednesday. During the meeting, the chief minister expressed that Pakistan highly values cooperation of China in energy sector. He said that work is being carried out speedily on energy projects throughout country whereas federal and Punjab government are working on three gas-based power projects set up with their own resources.–STAFF REPORTER

 He said that 3600-megawatt electricity will be generated on completion of gas-based power projects and loadshedding will decrease substantially and cheap electricity will be provided to the masses.

Senior authorities of the Chinese company, Planning & Development chairman, Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park Chairman Ch Arif Saeed and concerned officials were also present on the occasion.
