Man killed by Indian firing

ISLAMABAD - A civilian was killed and five other people including two women sustained injuries due to unprovoked firing by Indian forces in village Palani of Keraila sector along Line of Control on Wednesday.

According to ISPR, Pakistani troops befittingly responded to Indian firing.

A civilian Abdul Rehman, 28, resident of village Palani embraced martyrdom due to the Indian firing.

The ISPR, in separate statements, said that two children and two women were injured due to Indian firing in the Keraila sector along LoC.

Later in a statement, the ISPR said that a civilian was killed and five others were injured. The injured included a two-year-old girl, two boys with ages 11 and 17 years and two women with ages 40 and 50 in the same village in tehsil Nakial in Keraila sector.

This was the third incident of unprovoked firing by the Indian troops this week.
