NHA approves motorway link for western route of CPEC

ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority on Thursday approved the construction of motorway link for the western route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

According to Radio Pakistan, NHA Chairman Shahid Ashraf Tarar gave the approval in a decision taken during a meeting of the executive board of the authority.

The four-lane 49-kilometer long Yark-Sago Motorway will be constructed at a cost of thirteen billion rupees.

The meeting also gave approval to double the width of 128-kilometer long Sarai Gambila-Kohat section on the Indus Highway. The cost of the project is expected to be thirty billion rupees.
