KARACHI Hammas Ahmed Tarrar of Pakistan won his third international crown in a row when he claimed the Japan Junior Boys Under-11 title defeating home favourite R Yagami 11-2, 11-2, 11-3 in the final, according to information received by the Sindh Squash Association (SSA) here on Friday. In the semi-final, Hammas outplayed P Harvey of USA 11-0, 11-0, 11-2. This is the third title that the player from Sindh has won in one month. Recently, he won Hong Kong Junior Open in his own group and had won Milo All Star Junior Open U-11 in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The Sindh Squash Association is making all-out efforts to promote the game in the province especially in junior categories. The SSA is organising four to five national junior ranking events in Sindh to give exposure to junior players.
