LAHORE: Unidentified motorcyclists shot dead a 20-year-old jeweler in Islampura area, police said on Friday.
Resident of Sanat Nagar, Muhammad Shahbaz, was on his way home when unidentified motorcyclists stopped him outside Khalisa Hostel.
The motorcyclists opened straight fire on the jeweler at close range and fled away. Shahbaz received multiple bullet wounds and was rushed to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body was removed to the morgue for autopsy. The police have registered a murder case against unidentified killers and are investigating.  Killed: A 24-year-old man was crushed to death when his motorcycle rammed into a footpath in Mughalpura on early Friday.
Police said that the resident of Tajpura, Muhammad Salman, was on his way to a nearby market when all of a sudden his bike slipped and rammed into the footpath. The motorcyclists sustained serious head injuries and died in the way to a hospital.  The police handed over the body to the deceased’s family.–Staff Reporter
