LAHORE – The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has declared the result of Second Professional MBBS Annual Examination 2011 on Monday.
According to the press statement of the UHS, a total of 2,799 candidates of 20 affiliated medical colleges appeared in the examination held in December 2011, out of which 1,419 passed while 1,244 were declared fail.
The result of 136 candidates will be declared later on. The overall pass percentage is 53.29.
Komal Mushtaq d/o Mushtaq Ahmad of Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur got first position securing 823/1000 marks. Hammad Zafar s/o Zafar Mohi-ud-Din of Services Institute of Medical Sciences, Lahore and Saira Niaz Khan d/o Niaz Ahmad of Nishtar Medical College, Multan bagged second and third position, securing 822/1000 and 811/1000 marks respectively. The failed candidates can submit their admission forms on or before March 12.
Supplementary examination will commence from March 31.
