Qaim puts Sindh on high alert

KARACHI - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has directed Sindh Inspector General Police Ghulam Haider Jamali to put security on high alert and make foolproof arrangements for the public meeting of the PTI in Larkana.
According to details, the Sindh government has taken measures ahead of the PTI rally in Larkana.
Moreover, the Sindh Home Department has also forwarded letters to the commissioners all over the province, advising them to ensure effective security in their respective domains.
Meanwhile, Provincial Minister for Information Sharjeel Inam Memon contacted PTI Sindh Chief Nadir Akmal Leghari and PTI MNA Dr Arif Alvi on telephone, assuring them of full co-operation. Memon said that the PPP is a democratic party and all political and religious parties would be provided full support to conduct their activities.
He said that the Sindh government will provide foolproof security to PTI Chief Imran Khan. He informed the PTI leaders that the provincial government has directed Larkana District administration and law enforcement agencies for the security arrangements. He also demanded the PTI leadership to co-operate with the local administration.
