LAHORE: Fraudsters deprived a UK returned family of cash, valuables and passports in Shadman police station limits couple of days ago, said applicant of the case on Thursday.
Applicant Sajid Hafeez said that he was coming back home on Multan Road, from airport on November 16 after picking up his relatives Ather Mushtaq and his mother Mussarat Begum, who came to Lahore from London.
He further said: “We were intercepted by a black car with three men in police uniform. They snatched British Passport No 306553975 of my cousin Ather Musthaq, Card No 9140002949268 of his mother Mussarat Begum and cash GBP 2,500 and fled away”. He said he immediately phoned 15 police emergency and went to the police station and got registered a case.–Staff Reporter
