PARIS - A Ferrari auction has raised over 1.8 million euros for families of the victims of the earthquakes that struck the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna in May, the company said Wednesday. The online auction saw a luxury 599XX car, the only one made, sold to an American client for over 1.4 million euros. It will be personally delivered to its new owner by the Ferrari team's Formula One drivers Fernando Alonso.
