QUETTA - Two personnel of Balochistan Levies Force were killed and another wounded while their weapons were snatched when militants ambushed their checkpost in Naagh area of Washuk district, on Thursday.Levies Force sources said that militants attacked the Levies station located at Naagh area and opened indiscriminate fire on it. As a result of which, two Levies personnel were killed and another wounded. The deceased were taken to the hospital where they were identified as Muhammad Yousuf and Naseer while injured Nizam-ud-din.Sources said the attackers took the weapons and wireless sets of Levies personnel before escaping from the scene.A case has been registered against the unknown people and investigation is underway.No group had claimed responsibility for the attack till filing of this report.It may be mentioned here that in similar attacks in Awaran district two Levies stations were attacked and the weapons were snatched while banned Baloch Liberation Front had claimed responsibility for the attack.
