new delhi : Ahead of the talks between foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan, Pakistan's High Commissioner-designate Salman Bashir has arrived in New Delhi and is expected to present his credentials soon. Bashir, a former foreign secretary during whose tenure India and Pakistan began the process of re-engaging after a long hiatus following the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, arrived Wednesday evening. He is expected to present his credentials to the president soon, likely early next week, official sources said Thursday.
