LAHORE - Technology Upgradation and Skill Development Company (TUSDEC) is introducing Fashion Design Course for women next week in collaboration with First Women Bank Limited.
According to a press release issued by TUSDEC, USAID is financing this course under its Gender Equity Program with an objective to hone up the capacity and skills of the women especially from the low income groups. Proficient trainers of National Institute of Design and Analysis (NIDA) will train the women with the help of pragmatic curricula. TUSDEC has already been conducting  multiple skill development courses through NIDA, Skill Tech Karachi and under its collusion with BISP (Benazir Income Support Fund) aimed at female manpower cultivation in Pakistan. In all its pursuits towards gender reform, TUSDEC deems to close the existent socioeconomic gender gap in Pakistan by proactively enabling the women population to earn their living decently out of the formal and recognized employment
opportunities.
