OKARA -A man allegedly abducted his maternal niece here the other day.
The A Division Police have registered a case on the complaint of the girl’s mother. According to the police, Abida Bibi, wife Abdur Razzaq, resident of village Akbar, came to city along with her teenage daughter Sumera Bibi for shopping.
In the city market, her brother Muhammad Aslam spotted her along with his niece. Having some past grudge, he dragged his niece Sumera and took her away on his bike. The police have started further investigation.

The police arrested various narcotics dealers from different areas here. The A-Division Police carried out a raid in Mansoorabad Colony and arrested Ajmal alias Blade with 520g of Charas. The Saddr Police raided and arrested Muhammad Raheel of village 51/2L with 440g hashish. The A-Division Police arrested Saleem Masih of Christian Colony with 30 litre liquor.
