LAHORE - Punjab Governor Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana has summoned the Punjab Assembly to meet on Thursday (tomorrow).

It will be 33rd session of the present assembly, which is likely to continue for two weeks.  Officials in the Assembly Secretariat said there was no urgency to call the assembly session at this time; but the government is likely to lay two ordinances before the Assembly during the upcoming session. One ordinance pertains to establishment of a university in collaboration with China and the other is relating to provision of free medicines to hepatitis patients.
