OKARA - Armed dacoits looted cash and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees from Government Colony here the other day. As per detail, three armed dacoits stormed the house of Rizwan, son of Anwar Ali, in Y-Block Govt Colony in a broad daylight. They took inmates hostage and looted gold ornaments and cash worth hundreds of thousands of rupees. Having locked them all in a room the dacoits made off with the valuables. The police registered a case.
