KARACHI - Shahid Yousuf smashed record breaking unbeaten 129 to steer CA Sports Sialkot to comfortable 71 runs win over P&T Gymkhana in Pakistan Champions Cricket League here on Tuesday.
He hit seven sixes and 15 fours in his 70 balls innings. He and opener Nadeem Javed who remained not out 63 put on 197 for the first wickets stand as the Sialkot team batting first scored 201 for one. The losers were bowled out for 131 for seven.
In another exiting contest, M Hussain CC and Khan Sports Hyderabad tied their contest. M Hussain scored 145 for eight and their rivals ended their innings at the same total on the last ball of the innings.
Dawood Sports beat Combined Cricket Club by seven runs. Dawood sports, batting first, scored 150 for the loss of seven wickets in allotted 20 overs. Ahmer Bin Nasir made 47, Atif Ali 31. Taha Khan and Salman Donga got one wicket each.
Combined CC were all out on 143 runs in 20 over. Shoaib scored 32 runs. Fariduddin got 2-23, Faisal Tahir 2-29.
Airport Gymkhana beat Quaid-e-Azam Sprts Rahim Yar Khan by 64 runs. Airport Gym, batting first, scored 184 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. Tariq Haroon scored 46, Behram Khan 43 and Waqas Haroon 27 runs. Azhar Shafiq took 3-27 and Jahanzeb Khan 2-38.
Quaid-e-Azam Sports Rahim Yar Khan, in reply, could manage 128 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs. Jam Nazakat made 28 runs. Haris Ayaz got 2-38 and Masoom Ali 6-21.
