Rawalpindi - Director General Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Air Marshal (Retd) Muhammad Yousaf conferred commendation certificate on Tanveer Khan, a porter, in a ceremony held at Benazir Bhutto Islamabad International Airport on Friday.
Tanveer Khan, the CAA porter, found a bag a few days back in car parking area of the airport at midnight. The bag contained US $9,386 and visa debit/cards, besides other valuables. The official handed over the bag to PFS section. The manager and supervisor of PFS after hectic efforts found the contact of passenger Hameed Malik and handed over him the money and other belongings including the US passport.
The passenger lauded the efforts of team and appreciated the honesty portrayed by Tanveer Khan. In recognition of rendering meritorious services, DG CAA has awarded Commendation Certificates to Tanveer Khan CAA Porter with cash award of 02 basic pays. Mubarik Shah, Senior Joint Director and Mahtab Khan Field Supervisor Passenger’s Facilitation Services were also awarded DG’s Commendation Certificates in recognition there dedicated team efforts.
During his address, DG CAA appreciated the efforts of PFS team to portray such kind of honesty. It has improved the image of CAA manifold and earned good name for our country.
