LAHORE - President Mamnoon Hussain and Punjab Governor Malik Rafique Rajwana had a meeting at Governor House Lahore on Friday.  The president was here in the City to watch the T-20 match between Pakistan and India.
According to an official handout, the two discussed ‘’country’s overall situation’’ besides ‘’other issues’’. Punjab Minister for Education and Sports, Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan and Punjab Government’s spokesperson Zaeem Qadri were also present in the meeting. The two accompanied the president and the governor from the airport where they had gone to receive him.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif was conspicuous from his absence as he did not reach the airport to receive the president.  
Meanwhile, three senior lawyers, Ahsan Bhoon, Azam Nazir Tarar and Ch Ramzan called on the governor and congratulated him on assuming his new office.
