LAHORE - Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) and Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) have pledged their support to PTI candidate Tariq Tarar for NA-108 by-polls (Mandi Bahauddin). The announcement was made during a joint press conference of PTI, SIC and MWM held at Lahore Press Club on Friday. PTI MPA Khurram Shahzad, SIC provincial president Ammar Saeed and MWM provincial general secretary Allama Abdul Khalid Asadi addressed the press moot.
The leaders of SIC and MWM announced that they would back the PTI candidate in NA-108 by-polls and would also launch an election campaign for Tariq Tarar.
The PTI leader thanked the SIC and MWM leadership for extending their support to their candidate and hoped that their support would grab win for the PTI contender in the upcoming by-polls.
