KARACHI  :  Enquiries and Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) Sindh has decided to take strict action against the officers involved in fake and illegal appointments throughout the province without any discrimination. This was decided at a meeting presided over by ACE Chairman Alamuddin Bullo here at Sindh Secretariat on Wednesday.

The Chairman Anti Corruption Sindh stated that only three surprise visits had been paid in 11 months by the 5 circles which is very poor performance of Larkana zone of the establishment.

The Chairman ACE directed the officers to increase surprise visits and raids at their respective circles. The chairman also directed the circles officers to arrest the absconders before 31st December. The meeting also decided to celebrate Anti Corruption week in the month of December to create awareness among the masses regarding corruption.

“The Anti Corruption Establishment along with the civil society will arrange seminars and walks in the province” added the Chairman ACE . The meeting was briefed by the Director Establishment Usman Ghani Siddique regarding performance of the 5 disctricts larkana, Qamber-Shahdadkot, Kandhkot, Jacobabad and Shikarpur of Larkana zones of ACE . The Director Anti Corruption stated that in 2017 some 749 application have been recieved at larkana Zone. While 27 new FIR have been lodged, 8 traps and 156 new open enquiries have also been initiated and only 3 out of 47 absconders have been arrested. the meeting decided  transfer cirlce officer Shikarpur along with showcause notice due to his unsatisfactory performance.

 

The meeting was attended by Special Secretary Khalid Hussain Chachar, Director ACE Usman Ghani Siddique, Director Enquiries Faisal Bashir Memon, Deputy Secretary Dr. Mansoor Hussain Wassan, Direcotr Legan Abdul Hannan Sheikh, Deputy diretor and circle officers of Larkana Zone of ACE
