SARGODHA - A 28-year-old man died in police custody allegedly due to torture at city police station on Wednesday.  The police had arrested Haseeb, a resident of 49-Tail locality, in a theft case two days ago. The police had moved him to District Headquarters Teaching Hospital in critical condition but he succumbed to the injuries at the hospital. On the other hand, the police denied the allegation and said that he committed suicide in the lock-up by strangling himself with the cloth belt of his Shalwar.
